This basic model was very similar to the WM-EX110. The main difference was that this version had “Mega bass”, a loudness system that gave improved bass sound with the simple headphones supplied. The switch that controlled this function was placed on the cassette door. Other than this, the two models were very similar, though oddly the WM-EX112 was not available in green. A version with a radio was produced, this was known as the WM-FX113.
